DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

Are you interested in starting a rewarding career in patient care? Becoming a Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) may be right for you if you enjoy helping others and working directly with patients in hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities. Tasks may include assisting patients with daily living activities, taking vital signs, performing EKGs, collecting blood and other specimens, and providing basic bedside care under the supervision of nursing staff. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be fully prepared to take the NHA CPCT/A certification exam, which is included in the cost. The program also covers job readiness, interview skills, and resume writing to help students confidently enter the healthcare workforce.
