DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

The certification for CNA and Certified Home and Health Agency is a continuum course. Students will have to complete 90hrs of CNA and 76hrs of CHHA. CNA and Certified Home and Health Agency work under the direction of physician's, RN's and LPN's to provide daily activities of living and personal care to include house-keeping duties, bathing, grooming to patients and or clients. Students are taught in a simulated long term and home care settings, clinical instructions are conducted at a locally designed long term care facility. Students must achieve a grade of 75% or better to take the state certification examination for CNA and a final in class examination for CHHA. These are two individual courses not a bundle; both courses meeting the hours required by the state. Job placement will be provided for students upon successful completion of both CNA and CHHA.
