DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

This course will be conducted through traditional classroom instruction, allowing for direct, face-to-face engagement in an educational setting. Looking to start a career in the medical field? This course is your pathway to mastering both the administrative and clinical duties of a medical office. You’ll learn essential administrative skills like telephone techniques, insurance processing, account management, report generation, medical records handling, computerized fiscal management, medical transcription, and word processing. On the clinical side, you'll gain hands-on experience in examination room techniques, aseptic practices, infection control, equipment care, laboratory orientation, and the use of biomedical equipment. The course also provides a solid foundation in medical terminology, communication, pharmacology, and medical assisting skills. Upon successful completion, you’ll be fully prepared to take the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant certification exam, which is included in the course fee. We also provide job readiness training, interview skills development, and resume writing support to ensure you're ready to step confidently into your new career.
