Episo Foundation’s three (3) years, Nationally Recognized Apprenticeship takes a pedagogical, Comprehensive-based approach towards our Information Technology (IT)/Cybersecurity program. In particular, our in-depth courses give apprentices the skills you need to confidently, apply for in-demand, high wage jobs. Within a small cohort setting, the cybersecurity apprenticeship is for anyone who wants to enter the field of cybersecurity; no prior experience or specific knowledge is required. All you need is an interest in solving puzzles, helping others, and being apart of a great mission. Upon graduation, our instructors aim for you to demonstrate a wide variety of Information Technology security concepts, tools, and best practices, introduction to threats and attacks, some background of encryption algorithms, safeguard data, three As of information security: authentication, authorization, and accounting, network security solutions, ranging from firewalls to Wi-Fi encryption options. multi-layered, in-depth security architecture, integrate a culture of security and others. Apprentices’ learner how to identify common cybersecurity risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and the techniques to mitigate them. Nevertheless, courses to earn certifications are taught and developed by employees working in these fields; they are hands-on, practical, and rigorous. During the 112 weeks/909 hours of Related-Technical-Instructions (RTI), you will also gain real world experience via the On-the-Job (OTJ) training; giving you an opportunity to implement what you learned from using Python, Linux, SQL and demonstrate throughout your created artifacts: All an opportunity for a new career pathway for some and/or to progress in a current career for others.
