DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
This program is designed to teach students the basic skills necessary for employment as a Phlebotomy Technician. A Qualified PT will be able to retrieve specimen collection, to performing diagnostic procedures in medical laboratories, research centers, hospitals or medical centers using proper infection control and solid procedural skills and professional bedside manners. After completion of the course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be eligible to take the National Certification Exam through the National Health Association to become a Phlebotomy Technician.
