DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

A 90 hour training program developed to prepare students to work in the phlebotomy profession. This course includes 66.0 hours of instruction through theory and didactic online learning and 24 hours of clinical labs where students will learn to perform a variety of blood collection methods using proper techniques and precautions. Topics include medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, safety and compliance, interpersonal relations, blood collection equipment & procedures and capillary procedures. Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be eligible to take the National Health Career Association's Certified Phlebotomy Technician Current Procedural Terminology examination.
