This program prepares students to have a hands-on experience through clinical practice. The program is designed to prepare students for careers as Electrocardiogram (EKG) technicians in hospitals, clinics, and physicians' offices. The coursework in the Electrocardiography program emphasizes the operation of electrocardiograph machines used to measure and record electrical impulses created by the heart. Students often study the history and medical applications of electrocardiography as well. Most electrocardiography as well. The following are part of the coursework: Medical terminology, Written communications, Anatomy & Physiology, Electrocardiography, introduction, and Electrocardiography operation.
