DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
Train to Hire - This is a 8 - 12 week customizable program to support women, minority, and or justice-involved individuals back into the workforce. The programs trains individuals in constructions safety, blueprint reading, Occupational Safety and Health Administration 30, carpentry, electrical, financial literacy, trade mathematics, literacy, conflict resolution, critical thinking, problem-solving skill, project management / office skills and the work-ready skills needed to be job-ready. The training is both book work and hands on trades training within the classroom to help get students ready to perform in industry. Apex works with industry partners to promote and support job-placement of graduates so they can not only have a job but a career in the industry of trades.
