DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
This course teaches the management responsibility for creating and sustaining safety awareness, maintaining training, assuring compliance, and providing enforcement of safe workplace behavior. It also discusses personality types that contribute to poor or hasty decisions leading to unsafe behavior. Participants will learn coaching and managing techniques for dealing with unsafe behavior and preventing recurrences. The course includes a GEMBA Safety Walk in the participants workplace to observe both conditions and behaviors first-hand. Examples from the companys safety history are used in discussion and exercises to maximize relevance and practicality.
