DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
The objective of the Certified Nurses Aide Program is to train students to acquire satisfactory skills and demonstrate in a variety of ways nursing assistant procedures. These procedures are not limited to the study and practices of Human Development, communication, infection control, safety measures, body mechanics, vital signs, direct patient (residents) care, basic knowledge of body system and the role of the nursing assistant. Upon successful completion of the required 90 hours, students receive a certificate of completion and are able to sit for CNA State Exam. This program is offered in person. The CNA curriculum is state standards.
