DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
This program prepares individuals to administer medications: observe and report patient reactions and side effects; and perform related emergency and recording duties under the supervision of nurses and/or physicians. Students will also learn basic anatomy and physiology, common medications and their side effects, taking vital signs, oxygen administration, medication administration and application, record keeping, and patient observation. Upon successful completion of the required 30 hours, students receive a certificate of completion and are able to sit for CMA State Exam. The program is offered in person. The CMA curriculum is state standards.
