DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

As a Medical Assistant, you will be on a great career track in one of the fastest growing healthcare professions. You will learn to be proficient in all aspects of the medical office through lectures, lab practice and skills testing. Topics covered: anatomy and physiology, phlebotomy and EKG. Other areas include office scheduling, billing, electronic health records (EHR), HIPAA and CPR. Clear criminal background check required. Student is responsible for liability insurance (required, approx $50), and $20 AHA fee-CPR card; Stethoscope ($19). NOTE: Stated prices subject to change without notice - student is responsible for any price increases. Fees associated for the following are NOT INCLUDED in tuition, but are required and the student's responsibility for payment: physical exam, documentation of immunizations, 2-Step PPD, proof of Hepatitis B Series, and scrubs.
