Standard Intensive English

The multi-level curriculum is designed to meet the English language needs of our diverse student population. Its programs are focused on the acquisition of integrated skills such as speaking listening, reading and writing including vocabulary building, grammar, pronunciation/ accent reduction and American culture. It is organized according to the levels of English proficiency, from Beginner to Advanced Academics, justified on the theoretical grounds and partly shaped by practical considerations. There are innovative learning resources that have been practically research on, written and pilot tested to make sure Zoni curricula are relevant and conform within the field of established institutional/ educational program models. The institution offers different programs of study with specific curricular offerings such as: Standard Intensive English Program with five (5) levels of English proficiency from Beginner to Advanced Academics. There are relevant courses that correspond to each level of proficiency. The curriculum consists of specific content and skills- based courses. Because of the need of students for advanced academic instruction elective courses such as Proficiency Review courses, English for Business, Pronunciation & Accent Reduction, Interactive Vocabulary, to name a few. Test preparation courses are also offered to prepare them for further studies and better career opportunities like Test of English as Foreign Language, Internet Based Testing (TOEFL iBT), International Language Testing System (IELTS), Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages exams and Pearson Test of English (PTE).
