DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
This is an Intensive English Program designed for international students who have already achieved an intermediate level of English. The Academic English Program prepares students with a higher-level command of English which may be required for professional or diplomatic communication, or more specialized study in an American college or university. Courses include Advanced Speaking and Listening, Advanced Reading and Writing, Integrated Skills for Critical Thinking, and electives such as Business English, American Idioms, or Test of English as a Foreign Language Techniques. Upon completion of the program, students receive an official certificate indicating their level of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
