DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
After completing the program, students have an option to take English as a Second Language Advanced General Business English. The General Business English course is designed to facilitate students in acquiring business communication skills across listening, speaking, reading, and writing competencies necessary for formal and informal business transactions. The course is aimed at providing an opportunity for students to develop the English skills and cultural awareness of the world of business. This course helps students develop the skills needed to communicate successfully on a job that requires American English with emphasis on reading strategies, analytical thinking, discussion and oral presentation. Topics integrated throughout the course include international communications, current business news and culturally related issues.
