DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
The Program begins with a pre-apprenticeship program administered through New Jersey Health Care Employers Training & Development Fund and Essex County College. That includes the required 144 hour RTI instruction, inclusive of basic math and english instruction as well as work readiness, CPR certification, job shadowing, CNA certification, etc. Upon completion of the CNA 90 hour certification program with ECC, students are placed in a 2000 hour OJT registered apprenticeship at local hospitals, nursing homes and private practices.
