DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

Dreamchasers Pre-Employment Transition services (Pre-ETS), an outreach program run by Dreamchasers Community Services, LLC, offers no-cost pre-employment transition services to New Jersey public school students with disabilities, ages 14-21, who are potentially eligible for vocational rehabilitation services. These services are designed to lead to better services coordination, enhanced communication, stronger collaboration, and increased successful post school outcomes. Dreamchasers Pre-ETS program utilizes an innovative Blended Learning instructional methodology that leverages technology to provide a more personalized approach to learning. Participants receive programming in five areas: -Job exploration counseling -Work based learning experiences, which may include in-school or after school opportunities, experiences outside of the traditional school setting, and/or internships. -Counseling on opportunities for enrollment in comprehensive transition or postsecondary educational programs. -Workplace readiness training to develop social skills and independent living -Instruction in self advocacy
