DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
This program prepares individuals, under the supervision of physicians and nurses, to perform Electrocardiogram and ECG diagnostic examinations and report results to the treatment team. This includes instructions in basic anatomy and physiology, cardiovascular system, medical terminology, cardiovascular medications and effects, patient care, Electrocardiogram and ECG administration, equipment operation and maintenance, interpretation of cardiac rhythm, patient record management, and professional patient record management, and professional standards and ethics. Students will be able to work in clinics, hospitals or acute care facilities and private care settings.
