DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
A series of six courses designed for those interested in a career as substance abuse counselors or those in other human service fields seeking more knowledge about working with chemically dependent persons. The series consists of a general helping skills course along with five addictions counseling specific courses. The courses follow the domain topics as prescribed by the Addictions Professional Certification Board of New Jersey, Inc. and can be used towards completion of the requirements for a CACD (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor). Tuition & Fees listed apply to Atlantic/Cape May County residents only. Others higher.
