The 36-hour Certificate in Project Management offers a comprehensive program for entry into the field of project management and is based on the widely accepted principles of the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge, the PMBOK Guide. Project Management Institute is an internationally recognized organization dedicated solely to the Project Management profession. The program also provides the required education contact hours to sit for PMI's project management professional (PMP) test. The education requirement for Project Management Professional certification is one of many requirements needed to achieve certification.
