DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
This program prepares students to operate, maintain, and repair small unmanned aircraft systems, commonly known as drones. Upon successful completion of the program students will earn the Federal Aviation Administration Remote Pilot Certificate with a Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Rating. This Federal Aviation Administration certificate allows the holder to act as the pilot in command of a less than 55-pound commercial drone. The program also prepares students to troubleshoot mechanical and technical problems, make repairs and modifications, and conduct small-unmanned aircraft safety inspections.
