DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
Discovery Learning Center offers the Intensive English Program to non-native speakers of English who are serious about achieving the language proficiency needed to reach their educational goals or simply for their own self-improvement. We recognize that our students come from diverse cultures and academic backgrounds and that every student has different needs. The Intensive English Program is comprised of six levels and is designed to help English learners to reach a level of proficiency in reading, listening, speaking, and writing the English language that allows for effective communication with others. Each level has its own specific goals and outcomes, and each level of instruction builds upon the previous level(s) using listening, writing, grammar, comprehension, speaking, and vocabulary exercises. Each course level takes one term (10 weeks) to complete.
