DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

The Arc Institute offers a food service skills program to adults who have special needs. Professional and experienced staff instruct students in learning about safety measures, proper work attire, food preparation and appearance, cooking, set up, shrink wrapping preparation, proper use of freezer and refrigerator, catering, customer service, and appropriate hygiene. Students will work with job coaches and behavioral therapists if necessary. Students will help prepare breakfast and lunches for catering, meals on wheels, and for The Arc Mercer's various day programs.
