DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
General English is offered to all those who intend to study and become proficient in speaking, listening, writing and reading in English. This program is open to international students & residents alike who intend to develop and improve their communication (both verbal and written) skills using the English Language. General English 5 is for students who use English with ease and in a range of culturally appropriate ways but have yet to gain true fluency. Emphasis is placed on idiomatic expression and vocabulary development, refining grammar and learning how to discuss, argue, and express opinions in a culturally acceptable way. Students also refine their writing and presentation skills. By the end of Level 5, students will have an excellent command of the language and communicate fluently and accurately in most situations, even though a few lapses still occur in most complex and difficult situations.
