DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
The Access course covers the basics of using and understanding database programs. It begins with terminology used with databases in creating tables and queries, and moves into designing and building a database using Access. The course also presents how to use the database to update, and create records and fields. In addition, the course covers queries, forms and printable reports. Participants may request additional topics applicable to their work environment. Manuals are provided, along with exercises to facilitate the learning process. The following functionality is included: Create tables using a Navigation Pane which provides a comprehensive view of tables, forms, queries, and reports Filter and sort data easier, bringing clarity to business questions Interactive form and report design is a user-friendly, what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) forms design interface Creating reports using the report browse mode Collecting and sharing information Building the data collection form automatically in InfoPath or HTML in the body of the e-mail message. Integration with Windows SharePoint Services Using business logic created in Windows SharePoint Services to build collaborative workgroup applications Upon completion of this course participants will be able to master Microsofts Access database creation software. This course could be customized to accomplish a companys specific requirements.
