Unite Here Local 54 Youth Transition to Work Culinary Apprenticeship Program Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High School graduate or possess a General Education Diploma Pass a drug screening must be accepted as an employee at a casino property What Does the Apprenticeship Program Encompass? 2 years of on the job training & 290 hours of college instruction @ ACCC. You Must: Accept paid employment with a member of our Joint Cooks Apprenticeship Program. Sign a contract committing to the entire 2 year program. Follow all employer policies, procedures, and standards of conduct. Maintain a training log of your work process. Attend monthly meetings with YTTW. Attend ACCC during the month of January. Pass all classroom modules.
