DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
This intensive 220-hour program prepares the student for a career in today's ever-changing business environment. The majority of occupations today require computer proficiency as well as other professional skills. The goal of this course is to graduate each student with skills that are sought after in any industry. Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 2019 are covered with emphasis on preparing the student for Microsoft's Word and Excel Microsoft Office Specialist (Microsoft Office Specialist) Certification. Other professional skills such as Business Writing, Customer Service and employability skills are covered to present a marketable set of skills to employers. Writing a resume and job search training is included. Prerequisites: High school graduate or General Education Diploma and basic computer skills.
