DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

The student will understand boiler cycles, perform weekly routine combustion checks and perform routine maintenance on boiler systems. The student will prepare for the black seal license. At the completion of this course the student will identify components of a steam system; identify components of the fuel and air systems; identify components and their functions of a feedwater control system; identify basic start up procedures; perform troubleshooting procedures; and be prepared for Black Seal license.
