DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

Vet Assistants provide all types of animal care for veterinary offices, clinics, boarding facilities, shelters. Responsible for keeping animals safe and clean. Vet Assistants bathe, clean, disinfect animal cages, sterilize surgical equipment, perform daily caretaking such as feeding and weighing animals. They administer meds, collect blood, urine, tissue samples for testing, perform lab tests, monitor animals during surgery.
