DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
The Certified Nurse Aide Program is designed to prepare students to function in the traditional nurse aide role, in nursing centers, home care agencies and hospitals. This comprehensive program will focus on the nurse aide skills, and function safety,ethical, legal, psycho-social approach to patient and resident care. The program emphasizes on the needs of individuals across the life span from infancy through old age. This comprehensive program will prepare students to become a nurse aide and to pass the Nurse Aide examination. This course meet guidelines set by the Department of Health and Senior Services.The course includes nursing theory, laboratory skills and clinical practices in a nursing home setting.
