DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
Patient Care Technician program will provide with competency to assume entry level position in doctor's offices, outpatient clinics, ambulatory facilities, and other health care related businesses. Upon completion student will develop skill required in the application of knowledge gained through the academic, laboratory course and practical experiences. Graduates will be competent to render vital services relevant to patient care, obtaining vital signs, prepare and administer medications and immunization, collecting and processing of specimen, venipuncture, EKG, screen and follow up patient test, perform catheterization, cardiac monitoring and CPR . Graduate will be able to provide care under the supervision of an RN.
