DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
Medical Assistant Program will provide student with competency to assume entry level position in doctor's offices, outpatient clinics, ambulatory facilities, and other health care related business. Upon completion student will be competent in assisting with physical examination, procedures and treatment, obtaining patient history and vital signs, recognize and respond to emergencies, prepare and administer medications and immunizations, collecting and processing of specimen, venipuncture, performing diagnostic tests, screen and follow up with patient test, apply principles of aseptic techniques and infection control, CPR and perform administrative duties.
