DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

This course provides students with the foundational knowledge and hands-on skills required to become a Certified Medical Assistant. Topics include medical terminology, patient care procedures, medical office administration, pharmacology, laboratory procedures, and medical law and ethics. Students will develop the competencies necessary to work in various healthcare settings, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and professionalism. The student who passes the class will sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA ) certification exam provided by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
