DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
CCMA : Anatomy and Physiology, Basic Terminology used by CCMA's, Charting / EHR (Electronic Health Records). Intro to Infection Control Practices for Various diseases including Covid 19/ Flu's, etc as well as Medical Coding and Billing are part of this Course. ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS Coding, Fundamentals of Health Insurance / Record Procedures / Accounting of Patients Accounts etc. Administrative Office Procedures taught allowing Students to follow written orders from Nurses / Drs / and other Health Care Professionals. Medical Office Healthcare taught in ""Simulated Setting"" (Exam Room). Books are loaned to Students (No purchasing of Books required). Clinical is 1 & 2 including Pharmacology and all body systems, injections, minor surgical procedure assisting, and Electrocardiogram (major in passing new CCMA Exams). FULL Phlebotomy, FULL Electrocardiogram with FULL interpretation (highly needed by Hospitals, Drs, Urgent Cares etc, HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA rules and regulations taught as well. CPR/AED/Basic Life Support is taught and Certification is received upon Passing Grade. You can take the NHA or MEDCA exam for CMA (which has Phlebotomy and Electrocardiogram already in the exam for one credential) or you can step out to (3) credentials behind your name by taking CMA, CET, Current Procedural Terminology with this course if you so desire.
