DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
The Medical Assisting Hybrid program utilizes distance education courses along with on-campus training to prepare students for their new career, giving you the flexibility demanded by today's busy lifestyle. This program is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills required to become an entry-level Medical Assistant including Anatomy, physiology and Medical Terminology. The program prepares students for various allied health positions that are either clinical or administrative in nature. The Medical Assisting program also contains a clinical externship which is completed in an outside facility. Upon completion, graduates will have the entry-level skills of a Medical Assistant and be qualified to interview in a variety of healthcare facilities.
