The Academic Preparation Upper-Intermediate course at CAMPUS develops advanced-level English skills for students who wish to enter a university in the United States or for those who require these skills to reach other academic or professional goals. The course follows an intensive weekly curriculum of integrated skills, including several readings on a particular theme, a vocabulary test, an oral presentation, and a take-home writing assignment. Strong emphasis is placed on academic vocabulary, essay writing, and accent reduction. Students are eligible to enroll after completing Level 5 of General English
