DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills required in the area of photovoltaic installation on residential and commercial buildings. This program prepares you to design, install, sell and become a sub-contractor entrepreneur for any company hiring solar panel installers. Instruction will include: basic math for PV installation and design, electricity basics for photovoltaic, Occupational Safety and Health Administration electrical review, Introduction to PV design and installation. Students will also learn the basics of being in the Solar business in terms of Sales, Service and Business Development, Introduction to Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Quick books to do report writing and tracking data, business communication and sales skills component included.
