DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
Using the New Jersey Board of Nursing curriculum the student is prepared to work in the home care setting. The student participates in direct patient care, obtains CPR certification and develops skills including blood pressure and glucose monitoring. Instructor lead research prepares the student to research, prepare and present a project on a pre-approved topic. Employment in various health care settings is explored and employees are invited into the classroom to present the opportunities to the student. Each student will be eligible for CPR, Certified Home and Health Agency certification and complete the DOHSS Alzheimer training.
