DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

This course prepares students for the New Jersey State competency evaluation and Home Health Aide licensure. The training course is 76 hours, consisting of 60 classroom hours and 16 clinical hours. The content of the program includes the state mandated curriculum, roles, duties, skills and responsibilities of the Home Health Aide. Certification allows students to work at patient's private home or residential care facility by assisting with and performing variety of housekeeping chores such as cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping. This program follows the New Jersey State Department of Health and Senior Services Curriculum. This program is designed to train adults and it is open to general public.
