DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
ACIT'S Adult Cosmetology Program provides students with the required 1000 hour program training in all aspects of cosmetology for 2 years. During the first year of training students will complete training in all theoretical areas of the science of beauty. During the second year of training students will focus on practical application in real life settings, licensing preparation and clinical services. At the 600 hour mark students will become eligible for a student permit that will allow them to provide services in the student clinic and become employed in a salon, shop or spa. Upon graduation students become eligible to sit in licensing examinations.
