Students will learn to use, configure Visual Studio .Net's IDE; Fully utilize the object-oriented capabilities of .NET; Develop Win32 applications using Windows Forms; Utilize new features in the language including structured exception handling; free-threading; understand the role of the Common Language Runtime, the Common Type System; Create VB.Net or C#.NET components; Create and test Web Services and Use ADO.NET to access data.
