DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
Upon completion of the Program the student will be able to perform venipuncture (draw blood) accurately with little or no discomfort to the patient. Graduate will understand the guideline for handling and transporting various specimens to the Laboratory. Along with the above skills the graduate will be able to handle front office responsibilities, input Laboratory request into the computer data base and to also download and print out Lab results, they will also be able to do patient intake process including medical history information, and assist the physician in basic bedside laboratory testing.
