DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
General English is offered to all those who intend to study and become proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. This program is open to international students and residents alike who intend to develop and improve their communication (both verbal and written) skills using the English Language. General English Level 3 is for intermediate-level students who possess moderate linguistic proficiency in English, or who have completed General English Level 2. Oral communication competency is emphasized in order to develop fluency and accuracy in speaking. Writing skills will develop from shorter texts into longer pieces. Instruction will include more complex grammar and idiomatic expressions. By the end of Level 3, students will be able to function in an English-speaking environment, communicating successfully in a number of situations in which language is used in everyday life.
