CDL B (Box truck) & Forklift Training

This course will prepare you to obtain a Commerical Driver's License Class B license + Forklift Certificate. All of our courses also include ELDT certification. A Commerical Driver's License Class B license gives you the ability to drive any Commerical Driver's License Class B vehicles (box trucks, dump trucks, etc. weighing 26,001 lbs or more). The Forklift Certification is a course that will teach you how to operate a forklift and also teach you how to be safe while operating a forklift. Training for your Commerical Driver's License Class B license is divided into three phases: Classroom, Yard, and Road. Our classroom training (40 Classroom Hours) is designed to teach you how to pass the written exams needed to obtain your valid Commerical Driver's License permit. ELDT Theory is also included in classroom training. Classes are kept small, creating an ideal learning environment that focuses on giving you real-world knowledge rather than memorization of questions and answers.
Yard training (40 Hours yard and Road) is performed on campus in our 2-acre facility, where we focus on preparing you to then pass the Commerical Driver's License road test. You will learn how to properly perform a pre-trip inspection and an air brake test. You will also practice specific parking maneuvers that are required for you to learn by MVC, which are all skills that must be mastered to pass the 2.5-hour-long Commerical Driver's License road test. Road training prepares you for real-world driving, especially in this hectic metro area. We put our students through hours of simulation training on our state-of-the-art driving simulators preparing them for situations such as weather (snow, rain) and traffic. Road training also consists of driving on the real road, where we must teach you the rules of the road. We are equipped with Manual and Automatic vehicles. This course also includes 2 Road Tests.
