Upon completing this course students will have skills in: Use shells and commands to create powerful data processing applications; Use editors and tools to create and modify data files and documents; Write scripts for improved productivity; Effectively use flow control statements (case, while and if); Break a large program into functions; Use at the command line to manage data, files, and programs.
