DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity

The Certified Nurse Aide Training Program totals 90 hours and is comprised of 50 classroom hours and 40 hours of clinical experience. In this program, students will gain the knowledge needed to provide care for the elderly in either a Nursing Home or Assisted Living environment. Program includes medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, basic nursing skills, communication skills, and both the legal and ethical aspects of a resident's rights. Upon successful completion of the 90 hour program, students will be eligible to take the certification exams.
