DescriptionAbout this Learning Opportunity
Students learn principles of color, design and style through by working with models or actual clients. Computer skills, salon management, customer relations and career orientation are included with the 1,000 hours of instruction of basic hair, skin, and nail care skills. Students are prepared to take the State Board of Cosmetology Licensing exam upon successful completion of the program. HCVSD has proven to do an outstanding job in preparing students for this state exam. Additional costs for coursework incidentals (field trips, test fees, etc) may apply.
